The Affordable Housing Alliance (AHA) believes that access to affordable housing is just the first step in establishing housing security and financial well-being. In 2020, the AHA worked to maintain services throughout the COVID-19 pandemic as more New Jersey residents pursued housing and related relief than ever before. The AHA faced 2020’s biggest challenge head-on by focusing on the health and well-being of our staff and clients. By implementing a wide range of safety protocols to reduce the spread of COVID-19, including creating socially distant offices, plexiglass barriers in our workspaces, and through the distribution of personal protective equipment to all of our staff, the Affordable Housing Alliance was able to remain open and weather the storm, all while maintaining the high level of service our communities have come to expect. Our 2020 Annual Report highlights the impact we’ve made this past year, including what we’ve accomplished and how we’ve grown to become one of New Jersey’s leading affordable housing and utility assistance nonprofit organizations.
