Britton Cook

Director of Property Management

Britton Cook joined the Affordable Housing Alliance (AHA) as our Director of Property Management in 2021, and she has been an integral part of our organization ever since. With her extensive expertise and dedication, she plays a pivotal role in overseeing and maintaining the AHA’s diverse and expanding portfolio of affordable housing.

In this position, Britton is responsible for managing a wide range of properties, including single-family homes, multifamily housing (both large and small scale), a manufactured home park, group homes, and single-room occupancy units. Leading the Property Management team, she works closely with maintenance and property managers to ensure the success of our programs and units. Britton’s background in operational management, project and budget oversight, and contract and new-hire negotiations have significantly contributed to the organization’s recent growth and success.

Prior to joining the AHA, Britton gained invaluable insight during her 11 years of extensive property management experience. Additionally, through these property management positions, Britton directly supervised over 2000 homes. Britton pursued her education at St. John Fisher College, focusing on Political Science, and has earned an Affordable Housing Certificate from Rutgers University. Hailing from Rochester, New York, she has a deep appreciation for nature and enjoys immersing herself in the great outdoors, particularly relishing the beauty of changing seasons.
