2022 Employee Appreciation Luncheon

The Affordable Housing Alliance Celebrates Our Strongest Asset, Our Staff, At Our Employee Appreciation Luncheon.

With the help of some amazing sponsors, the AHA was able to turn the spotlight inwards and highlight the work of our employees.

Eatontown, NJ The Affordable Housing Alliance (AHA) gathered at the Sheraton in Eatontown, New Jersey on Thursday, December 8th, 2022 to celebrate the amazing work of our staff at our FIRST annual Employee Appreciation Luncheon. The AHA has a long tradition of hiring local difference-makers to provide our communities with essential resources and services, and the AHA was thrilled to turn the spotlight back on them. The inaugural edition of our Employee Appreciation Luncheon saw the AHA close our offices early and bring together all of our staff for an afternoon full of food, fun, and awards! After celebrating those staff members who have enjoyed a recent major professional milestone (5 Year, 10 Year, 15 Year, and 20 Year employment certificates), the AHA announced the recipients of our first ‘Mission Award’ winners! We all know a coworker or two who embodies their organization’s mission, and this award celebrated those who consistently go above and beyond for the AHA and our clients. The new Mission Award is an opportunity to ensure staffers’ actions are properly recognized, and this class of winners included:

Teresa B. | April M. | William R. | Elaine S. | Jennifer T. | Renee W.

About the Affordable Housing Alliance

The Affordable Housing Alliance (AHA) was founded in 1991 with the clear goal of addressing Monmouth County’s affordable housing shortage. Through the hard work and dedication of our talented team of difference-makers, the AHA has grown into a 501c(3) non-profit organization with an ‘exemplary’ rating from NeighborWorks America and a well-rooted footprint in New Jersey. While our organization continues to grow, the AHA’s commitment to supporting the Garden State’s housing and utility challenges remains unchanged.

The AHA has developed, financed, renovated, or constructed over 600 units of rental and homeownership housing and continues to own and manage over 500 units. Our unique portfolio represents the variety of housing options that are available for low and moderate-income households. In addition to our development and management experience, the AHA is a HUD-Certified housing counseling agency. We also provide a variety of social services and assistance to help individuals obtain and remain in affordable housing.
