Randi Moore serves as the Chief Executive Officer at the Affordable Housing Alliance. The Affordable Housing Alliance (AHA) is a nonprofit housing development and social service agency that has been serving residents for over 30 years. The AHA’s mission is to improve the quality of life for all New Jersey residents by developing and preserving affordable housing, by providing services that maintain affordability, by providing housing education, and by helping communities meet their legal and moral housing obligations.
Randi has 18 years of experience working in the affordable housing field in New Jersey. Prior to joining the AHA, Randi led the Division of Housing and Community Development (HCD) for the County of Hudson for nearly 10 years. In this role, she was responsible for administering federal grants from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for community development, affordable housing, and homeless programs. During her time with the County, Randi has spearheaded new initiatives and implemented innovative programs to improve the way housing and services are provided to homeless individuals and families.
Prior to joining the County of Hudson, she worked in the nonprofit sector, first as the Ending Homelessness Team Leader at Monarch Housing Associates where she assisted counties and municipalities to draft and implement local plans to end homelessness. She later moved on to New Jersey Community Development Corporation where she developed and operated permanent supportive housing projects for homeless and other special needs populations.
