Millstone Commons

  • Currently under construction, to be completed Fall 2026.
  • Sixty-Seven apartments, ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms for very low to moderate income families.
  • 5 apartment set-aside for families experiencing homelessness, who will have wrap around services including access to transportation.
  • Energy Star and Zero Energy Ready Certified Apartments, each of which will have an accessible front entrance, and individual patios or balconies.
  • A standalone community center, including management offices, service offices, a fitness room, TV/Computer/Kitchen Lounge Area, Common Outdoor Patio, and Playground.
  • Funding provided through NJHMFA, Enterprise Community Partners, TD Bank, and Millstone Township.

Future Developments

Gordon Homes – Coming in 2027

  • Six 3 bedroom homes to be constructed on a new subdivision off Gordon Road.
  • Will be for sale for low, moderate, and “workforce” income families, prioritizing Blue Acres buyouts and First Time Homebuyers.
  • The homes will be incredibly energy efficient, featuring both a passive house energy rating and geothermal technology.
  • Each home will feature a driveway, garage, back patio, and private backyard space.
  • Initial Funding has been approved through the NJDCA Smart Move Program.

Future Developments

Millstone Senior Housing III – Coming in 2027

  • Will feature ten (10) one-bedroom apartments for seniors aged 55 and older, of very low to moderate income.
  • These apartments will be for seniors aged 55 and over who qualify for very low to moderate-income housing.
  • Initial funding has been applied for through the NJDCA Affordable Housing Trust Fund. Millstone Township Municipal Trust Fund dollars have also been committed. AHA will be seeking further funding.
  • Units will be Energy Star rated with and feature zero transition flooring.

Future Developments

Ocean Family Housing – Coming in 2028

  • Targeting construction to begin in 2027.
  • Sixty-Seven apartments, ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms for very low to moderate income families in Ocean Township (Monmouth).
  • 5 apartment set-aside for families experiencing homelessness, who will have wrap around services including access to transportation.
  • Energy Star and Zero Energy Ready Certified Apartments, each of which will have an accessible front entrance, and individual patios or balconies.
  • A standalone community center, including management offices, service offices, a fitness room, TV/Computer/Kitchen Lounge Area, Common Outdoor Patio, and Playground.
  • AHA will be seeking Low Income Housing Tax Credits through NJHMFA, as well as other sources.
