This weekend, local police and fire departments partnered with young people in our community for a day of holiday shopping at Walmart. Beyond the gifts, this initiative creates meaningful connections between youth and the first responders who serve them.
These relationships matter. They build trust, foster understanding, and create a foundation for a safer, more connected community.
