Rendition of Millstone Senior Housing III
The AHA is creating more affordable housing opportunities for seniors in Millstone Township thanks to a $3 million award from the State’s Affordable Housing Trust Fund.
This funding will bring Millstone Senior Housing III to life in 2027, our ninth collaboration with Millstone Township in developing affordable housing that fits seamlessly into their community. This long-standing partnership reflects our shared commitment to ensuring seniors have access to quality, affordable homes where they can age with dignity.
The new development will feature ten one-bedroom apartments specifically designed for seniors aged 55 and older with very low to moderate incomes. Each unit will be Energy Star rated and include zero-transition flooring for enhanced accessibility and safety.
As our Chief Property Development Officer Chris Pugliese notes, this project represents not only our commitment to affordable senior housing, but also the power of long-term collaboration in addressing local housing needs. We’re honored to continue our partnership with Millstone Township in creating housing solutions that truly serve their community.
The AHTF funding, awarded through DCA’s Municipal Settlement Fund, was granted to 23 projects statewide, totaling more than $35 million in investments that will create nearly 230 new affordable units across New Jersey communities.
We’re grateful to the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Millstone Township, and all our partners who make projects like this possible. Together, we’re ensuring that seniors in our community have access to safe, affordable housing for years to come.
