Eligibility Requirements
CAP Utility Assistance Program
AHA-CAP helps people in Monmouth County pay their utility bills or turn services back on.
Who Can Apply?
You may qualify if:
- You live in Monmouth County
- Your household meets income guidelines
What We Can Help With:
Gas or Electric Shutoff (Reconnection)
- We can help turn your gas or electric back on.
- You must have a current shutoff notice.
- You may receive up to $500, based on your need and available funding.

Past-Due Fuel, Gas or Electric Bills
- We can help pay overdue fuel gas or electric bills.
- You must apply for USF and LIHEAP
- You may receive up to $500, based on your need and available funding.
