DYESE DAVIS SWORN IN TO THE BROOKDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Dyese Davis, a member of the AHA Board of Directors and former student at Brookdale Community College, was recently sworn in as a member of the Brookdale Community College Board of Trustees.
Last week, Gov. Phil Murphy appointed Ms. Davis, a Monmouth County resident and Rutgers University alumnus, as she becomes the only person of color on the college board – and the only one under age 30.
Ms. Davis is currently the deputy chief of staff to Senate Majority Conference Leader Vin Gopal (D-Long Branch), after having served as an intern in the same legislative district office for Assemblyman Eric Houghtaling (D-Neptune) and Assemblywoman Joann Downey (D-Freehold).
Ms. Davis also serves as a member of the Neptune Township Planning Board, as an advisor to the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Cabinet in Neptune and forms part of the Neptune Township Library Board of Trustees.
