Dyese Davis Sworn In To The Brookdale Community College Board Of Trustees

NEPTUNE, NEW JERSEY – Dyese Davis, a member of the AHA Board of Directors and former student at Brookdale Community College, was recently sworn in as a member of the Brookdale Community College Board of Trustees.
Last week, Gov. Phil Murphy appointed Ms. Davis, a Monmouth County resident, and Rutgers University alumnus, as she becomes the only person of color on the college board – and the only one under age 30.
Ms. Davis is currently the deputy chief of staff to Senate Majority Conference Leader Vin Gopal (D-Long Branch), after having served as an intern in the same legislative district office for Assemblyman Eric Houghtaling (D-Neptune) and Assemblywoman Joann Downey (D-Freehold).
Ms. Davis also serves as a member of the Neptune Township Planning Board, as an advisor to the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Cabinet in Neptune, and forms part of the Neptune Township Library Board of Trustees. The Dyese Davis appointment shows a commitment to
