AHA Will Provide New Affordable Housing Units in Monmouth County for Formerly Homeless NJ Residents

Tinton Falls, NJ – The Affordable Housing Alliance (AHA) is excited to announce the opening of a new affordable housing site at Fort Monmouth in Tinton Falls. The development – known as “Patriot Square” – is part of a larger redevelopment effort under the direction of the Fort Monmouth Economic Redevelopment Authority (FMERA). Patriot Square will provide much-needed affordable housing to the area.
Through coordination with FMERA and site developer Lennar, AHA has taken possession of two newly constructed buildings to support formerly homeless residents of New Jersey. Each building features ten one-bedroom apartments including ADA compliant units. The opportunity presented with the acquisition of Patriot Square brings affordable housing to New Jersey’s veteran community.
Patriot Square will provide updated, quality homes that are affordable and are close to jobs and transportation,” said Donna M. Blaze, CEO of the AHA. “These 20 new units will provide individuals with the opportunity to live independent, fulfilled lives, all within a supportive community setting.”
AHA will oversee the screening of applications for Patriot Square and work closely with a coalition of local partners to enhance our promotional and marketing efforts. Ms. Blaze, who founded the Alliance 29 years ago, remarked that “we are thrilled to continue to expand upon our mission of providing safe, quality, and affordable housing to Monmouth County residents.”
Patriot Square is located at Bataan Avenue in Tinton Falls, NJ.
